The University of Evansville Women’s Tennis Team (8-14, 0-3) will host their first home conference action of the season this weekend when they play host to Drake on Saturday and UNI on Sunday. Both matches will take place at the Harrison High School Tennis Courts.
With it being the final home stand of the season, Sunday’s match against UNI will be Senior Day for Aces Tennis.  Marina Moreno is the lone senior for the Aces.  Sunday will mark her final home match.  She will be honored before the start of the match on Sunday.
The Aces are coming off a weekend where they were able to defeat Indiana Wesleyan on Friday night by a score of 4-3.  They followed that with losses at Illinois State on Saturday and at Bradley on Sunday.  The Aces currently sit at 0-3 in conference play and are hoping to get there first conference victory of the season this weekend.
Drake comes into the match on Friday with a record of 11-10.  They also come into the match with a conference mark of 1-2.  They have most recently dropped two conference matches in a row against Missouri State and Wichita State.  UNI is coming into their match with a record of 3-13 and a conference mark of 0-3.  They have also lost three matches in a row coming into the weekend.
Following this weekend the Aces will travel to Missouri State and Wichita State to wrap up their regular season next weekend.  Evansville will then turns around soon after that and go back to Wichita State for the MVC Tournament.
