GOP PARTY CHAIRMAN WAYNE PARKE DEMANDS THAT DAN MCGINN RESIGN FROM CITY COUNCIL

7

Dear Mr McGinn:

I accept you resignation as a Republican Precinct Committeeman. If your email is an accurate representation of your line of thinking, I suggest you also resign from your City Council position as well.

You ran and was elected as a Republican. You have already stated you are not going to run for re-election in 2019–so resign now from your position as a City Councilman, so voters can be represented by a Republican because that is what they thought they were getting when you ran for office.

As I have in the past, I will continue to voice my opinion on issues to all elected officials no matter what party they belong to if I believe their vote is not in the best interest of the citizens and the Republican Party.

You are not acting like the person I once knew and I do not know why.

Wayne Parke-Chairman VCRP

  1. I second Parke’s call for Fly to turn in his wings. Out of the party, off the council, everybody knows that.

He’d better get up Mesker hill before they start breeding those penguins to his beloved butterflies.

  2. Wayne Parke lecturing someone on what it means to be a Republican? Now that is rich. Parke should have been kicked out of the Republican Party when he was actively campaigning for democrats! The truth is that both Parke and McGinn need to resign from the Republican Party and politics in general. Both have been incompetent at their jobs. Both would seem to be a good fit for jobs with the Evansville Regional Business Committee, if they are not already being carried on the books of that organization.

  3. Hey Pressankey–
What Democrat did I campaign for? I do not remember that.

    • The post below was made in 2011 and time has proven that this tax and spend democrat in republican clothing was nothing more than the latest in a long line of establishment supported democrat candidates. It is in response to your protestations about how you work to get the best REPUBLICAN candidates to run for office. I assume that is after you receive the “approved” list from the local establishment.

Lloyd Winnecke is NOT a leader, he is a follower. He has taken his direction from Jonathan Weinzapfel for the last eight years.
If you would like to win an election some time Mr. Parke try running a true conservative republican instead of a socialist democrat in republican clothing.
You can not rebuild your party with a democrat at the helm. In fact, it will just further divide the party.

  4. right on…………right on……………Press has without a doubt nailed it again…………….

  5. Hey Pressanykey–

Why don’t you get your facts correct before commenting that I supported a Democrat?

I do support Mayor Winnecke. Winnecke is a Republican and has voted Republican for over 10 years. He is a good Republican leader for our great City where the City Council is controlled by Democrats. No money can be spent without their approval. He won the Mayor’s position in what use to be a very strong Democrat City. He recognizes that sometimes, you have to negotiate to advance the ball in order to make progress. The US senate needs to learn to do the same thing.

Why don’t you use your real name like Mayor Winnecke and I do? What are you hiding?

    Wayne Parke
